What sunflower cake is
Cake is what remains of sunflower seeds after the oil is pressed out. It contains 32–38% protein and 7–10% fat, so it adds both protein and energy to a ration.
Sunflower meal is made differently: the oil is extracted from the seeds with a solvent, leaving 1–2% fat. We compare the two and explain how to choose in the article “Cake or meal”.
Cake is stored in a dry, ventilated warehouse: above 9–10% moisture it can self-heat and clump. We check the moisture and protein of every lot before shipment.

What is the minimum lot size?

How is cake different from meal?
Cake is produced by pressing and keeps 7–10% fat. Meal comes from solvent extraction: it has 1–2% fat and slightly more protein. More in the article “Cake or meal”.
Do you ship in bags or big bags?
The standard option is bulk in rail hopper cars and trucks. We discuss packing in big bags for each specific lot.
What documents come with a lot?
Contract, invoice and waybills, the lab analysis of the lot. For export — a certificate of origin and the veterinary documents required by the buyer’s country.
Why is there no price on the website?
The price depends on volume, delivery terms and the destination station, and the market changes every week. Send us the product, volume and city on WhatsApp — we will reply with a delivered price and the lab analysis of the lot.
Where do you ship from?
From Ust-Kamenogorsk: by rail from Zashchita station, by road from our warehouse in the city. We can load your transport or deliver to your station and warehouse. More on the delivery and payment page.

Yes, we ship to Uzbekistan, Iran and other countries. We prepare the export documents and calculate delivery to the destination station — see the export page.
